When you book through Sunset Sail Salem we will contact you via e-mail or by phone to confirm your reservation. Please have your credit card ready to place a deposit to hold your reservation.
When we get a reservation for a charter a lot goes into preparing the vessels for your trip. We realize there are times when you may have to cancel a charter. That’s okay providing we have advance notice of at least 48 hours. No shows, especially at the time of launch, or last minute cancellations make it difficult for us to keep our prices competitive. For cancellations 48 hours or more in advance there is a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged a minimum of 20% to a maximum of full price.
Sunset Sail Key West will not sail in unsafe weather conditions, such as heavy rain, thick fog, high winds, thunder and lightning etc. However we will sail in overcast conditions, light fog, and in intermediate sprinkles. The final decision to sail resides on the captain. If the captain decides it is unsafe to run the trip, Sunset Sail Salem will do its best to reschedule you for another sail during your stay. A full refund will be issued if the captain cancels the trip due to unsafe weather conditions. If you have a confirmed reservation and choose not to sail because of weather and the boat still sails, you will be charged a minimum of 20% up to a maximum of the full ticket price depending on the season.
